As is tradition at Walker Tape®, we like to look back over the past year and pick out some of the best questions that we were asked. These questions highlight just some of the important information that helps serve both our customers and the wider industry.

 

Starting with:

 

Question 1 – “Which is stronger for bonding, not touch ups, Mity-Tite or Liqui-Tape for daily wear?”

 

Both Mity-Tite and Liqui-Tape are designed for 1-7 days wear, but differ in a few ways.

 

Liqui-Tape tends to offer more flexibility and comfort due to its silicone base, making it a premium choice for bonding when daily wear is the priority over touch-ups. But it truly depends on client preference when it comes to adhesive.

 

Question 2 – “Which tape is best for tape-in hair extensions that will hold good onto my natural hair for 4-6 weeks?

Question 5 – “How do I order online?”

Question 6 – “I suffer with traction alopecia, and have a very sensitive scalp to hair being pulled. Will scalp protector cause my hair to pull?”

 

While scalp protector serves as an adhesive booster and creates a protective barrier for sensitive skin, it’s not specifically designed to prevent hair pulling.

 

If you have concerns about your hair being pulled, we advise you to consult with your stylist for advice. They can provide recommendations tailored to your specific needs and concerns.

 

Question 7 – “Can you recommend me a tape that holds up to 2- 3 weeks for any base but easy for maintenance to save time?”

 

For a tape that holds up to 2 to 3 weeks and is easy for maintenance, we recommend our Lace Front tape. It provides a strong hold while being easier to remove and easier to clean, saving you time and effort.
