What is Ultra Hold Pro?
Ultra Hold Pro is the next evolution of our already best-selling Ultra Hold Pro liquid adhesive!
A silicone-based maximum wear (4+ weeks) glue, Ultra Hold Pro is designed with all of the amazing qualities of original Ultra Hold, but is now made to be medical-grade and hypoallergenic for a more comfortable, secure, and stress-free wear. Ultra Hold Pro is here to deliver next level hair system bonding results.
What Makes Ultra Hold Pro Great?
Ultra Hold Pro is great for several reasons:
- Medical Grade & Skin-Safe: Its medical grade, skin-safe gentleness is what makes Ultra Hold Pro, “Pro.” Great for clients with sensitive skin, or those looking for a safe and risk-free hold.
- Transparency Code: Ultra Hold Pro is the first product to have Walker Tape’s new transparency code. The transparency code helps to weed out counterfeits and fakes, and help customers know for sure that their purchased product is legitimate.

How To Use Ultra Hold Pro
Ultra Hold Pro is pretty easy to use. Simply:
- Wash & prepare the scalp using Bond Breaker Shampoo and 99% Alcohol.
- Apply a scalp protector (i.e., Max Hold Sport) to the scalp to help create a clear bonding surface and boost the adhesive hold time.
- Use sponge brushes – or in the case of some of our bottles, the built-in brush – to apply a thin, even coat of Ultra Hold Pro to the scalp, then let dry or blow dry until tacky. Ultra Hold Pro turns clear when tacky/dry.
- Repeat once more to add a second layer of adhesive to the scalp.
- Once the second layer has dried, press the hair system onto the scalp. Be sure to firmly hold for at least 10 seconds to activate the adhesive bond and get the best strength for your hold.

- Walker Signature Remover: Our all-organic, medical grade remover. It removes Ultra Hold Pro quickly and easily.
Storing Ultra Hold Pro
Keep Ultra Hold Pro away from heat, humidity, and light. Store in a well-ventilated, cool, dark, dry, room-temperature controlled environment (60-80°F). Seal completely. With proper storage, our glues have a shelf life of up to six months.
