We at Walker Tape & Beautify released a wide range of brand-new products in 2025. In this blog, we’ll be putting the spotlight on our brand-new adhesive remover: Gel Release.

What is Gel Release Adhesive Remover?

Gel Release (for both Beautify and Walker Tape) is our gel-based adhesive remover!

Gel Release is specifically designed for precise and controlled hair system adhesive removal. The design of the bottle offers easy, targeted application directly to the adhesive; and the alcohol-based gel stays exactly where you apply it, with very little running or dripping.

For hair extensions, Gel Release helps to and works quickly to loosen the bonds on keratin-bond hair extensions.

Gel Release Remover is here to deliver next level hair system & extension adhesive removal results.

What makes Gel Release Great?

Gel Release has a variety of benefits that make it a great remover, such as:

  • Being Easy to Cleanup: Gel Remover’s alcohol base makes it easy to clean-up. The gel also doesn’t run!
  • Fast-Acting: Gel Release gets to work quick, saturating the adhesive thoroughly to release the bond.
  • Skin-Safe: Gel Release is made to be safe and gentle on skin.
  • Helps to loosen bond on keratin bond hair extensions, for later removal with keratin tool.

When Gel Release is used on hair system liquid adhesives, it must be paired with an oil-based remover to fully remove the adhesive from the scalp.

How to Use Gel Release Adhesive Remover?

Gel Release is very simple to use. Just follow these directions for either hair systems or hair extensions:

We recommend performing a patch test before use.

For Hair Systems

Directions

  2. Allow the gel to sit and saturate the adhesive thoroughly. Use more as needed.
  3. Gently and slowly lift and remove the hair system from the scalp.
  4. Once the system has been removed from the scalp, use a stronger Walker Tape adhesive remover for full adhesive removal from both scalp and system.

For Hair Extensions
